Breastfeeding is a very special journey for a new family and child. Like any new skill, breastfeeding will be more successful with early preparation and increased knowledge. Learning the evidence-based information that dispels the myths gives you confidence about what is the most important. This class will address the most common questions that couples have, for example; how do I know my baby is getting enough milk, what not to do, how can a partner or family member be involved? During this 2 hour informative class, learn what to expect in the first days and weeks of breastfeeding as well as the basic concepts of breastfeeding including: latching, positioning, challenges, and maintaining your milk supply while away from your baby.
You will also receive access to a free companion web app that works on any type of mobile device or computer. It includes all of the book content, plus helpful videos, and practical tools and a breastfeeding log. This class registration is for you and a guest. Please feel free to bring snacks, water and your breastfeeding pillow. | |
