Prachi Anand, MD, is Associate Chairman of Education in the Department of Medicine at Nassau University Medical Center. She also serves as the Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and Chief of Rheumatology Division. Additionally, she is the Site Program Director of the integrated Rheumatology fellowship program between Winthrop University Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center.
She earned her medical degree from Dayanand Medical College, India and completed an internship and residency at Nassau University Medical Center. She pursued a fellowship in Rheumatology at Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola NY.
Dr. Anand’s interests include the management of Lupus and other autoimmune disorders. She has written peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, and book chapters. Dr. Anand also has expertise in Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Anand has featured in Guide to America’s Top Physicians and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
