Physician Bio: Dr. Dahua Zhou is a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist with a subspecialty in Body Imaging. He specializes in using modern Cross-Sectional Body imaging approaches such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound to provide timely and precise information. He is especially interested in genitourological, gastrointestinal, sports related musculoskeletal imaging, and cardiac coronary angiography. Dr. Zhou routinely teaches the residents and medical students and enjoys working with clinicians, discussing the imaging findings with referring physicians to provide better service to the patients.
Dr. Zhou graduated from the China Medical University in Shenyang in 1988 and subsequently completed a Radiation Oncology Residency in China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing. Dr. Zhou spent five years performing research in The Laboratory of Cellular Physiology and Immunology at Rockefeller University, NY. He completed his one-year internship at Catholic Medical Center in Queens and his four-year Diagnostic Radiology Residency training at Nassau University Medical Center in 2002. After his subspecialty fellowship in Body Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 2003, Dr. Zhou returned to Nassau University Medical Center to serve as an Attending Radiologist.
