Physician Bio: Dr. Joel Rosen is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College. He completed an Internship in Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, and a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Rosen was a Fellow in Nuclear Medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. He worked as Assistant Professor of Radiology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1983-1990. This was followed by a position as Associate Professor of Radiology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine from 1990-1993. Dr. Rosen later served as Director of Nuclear Medicine for Mount Sinai Services at Elmhurst Hospital Center. Dr. Rosen is board certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and in Nuclear Medicine. Since November, 2002, he has served as Director of Nuclear Medicine at Nassau University Medical Center. He has been appointed as Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and as Chairman of the Radiation Safety Committee at Nassau University Medical Center. |
