Shadab H. Ahmed, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She has additional certification as HIV specialist from the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVS), and certification in Tropical Diseases and Traveler’s Health from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Dr. Ahmed practices at Nassau University Medical Center, a large 530 bed suburban hospital with 589 bed A Holly Patterson Nursing home and several outlying FQHCs. Dr. Ahmed is an active member of several community organizations. Dr. Ahmed’s interests include Travel Medicine, TB, HIV/AIDS and Infection Control.
