Dipti B. Kothari, MD, hospitalist in the Department of Medicine at Nassau University Medical Center graduated with a medical degree from K. J. Somaiya Medical College in India. Dr. Kothari completed her medical residency in the United States from the Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, NY in the department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Kothari also completed her post graduate training in Anesthesiology from K.E.M Hospital, India, one of the prestigious medical schools renowned in the world and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Anesthesiology in India.
During her post-graduate studies, Dr. Kothari worked on a thesis project in the field of Anesthesiology. Dr. Kothari has worked on research projects and co-authored several research papers and gave presentations in the field of Oncology, Anesthesiology, Internal medicine and GI.
