Physician Bio: Dr. Shari Lobel graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in 1983. She subsequently underwent one year of internal medicine at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn , New York in l987. This was followed by a CT/Ultrasound fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, finishing in l988. She remained as an Assistant Professor in Radiology, specializing in Abdominal Imaging and Gastroenterology Radiology until l990. Dr. Lobel subsequently was an Attending in Radiology at St. Vincents Medical Center in Manhattan from l990 to l993, specializing in Abdominal CT and Ultrasound. She worked as an Attending in Radiology at North Shore University Hospital from l993 to 2000, specializing in Mammography and Ultrasound. Dr. Lobel worked at Mt. Sinai Hospital Queens Hospital Medical Center until 2007 when she came to Nassau Unversity Medical Center as an Attending in Radiology. She presently specializes in Mammography and Abdominal Imaging. |
