Dr. Ng completed his undergraduate studies in Anthropology at New York University where he was a Founder’s Day Honors Scholar. After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College where he graduated with an Award of Distinction, he completed an internship in General Surgery at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset, NY. He finished his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In his capacity as Associate Director, he has led the Emergency Department successfully through the transition to a brand new, state of the art Emergency Department with a new Electronic Medical Record and the development of a new residency in Emergency Medicine. His interests include quality improvement, clinical informatics and faculty recruitment. He has served on Stroke, Clinical Informatics and Performance Improvement Committees within Nassau University Medical Center as well as on the Government Affairs committee for the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Ng also volunteers as Medical Director for the Williston Park Fire Department and Emergency Rescue Squad. Dr. Ng strives to improve health care delivery in the Emergency Department.
